Jess Ramírez, (she/her), is the Lab Developer and Creative Strategist for The Engaged Stories Lab at Kansas State University, where she works to amplify marginalized voices and foster community-driven change. She is also a community-engaged scholar and PhD student in the Leadership Communication program at the Mary Lynn and Warren Staley School of Leadership. Her research focuses on collective leadership, complexity theory, and community-driven crisis response, with an emphasis on food security, homelessness, and complex adaptive systems. In addition to her doctoral studies, Jessica is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Public Health Nutrition. As an undergraduate instructor in Global Food Systems Leadership and Leadership Studies, she is dedicated to equipping the next generation of leaders with the knowledge and skills to drive social transformation.
